I received my Masters in Counseling Psychology from The Wright Institute and completed four years of post-graduate clinical work, supervision and passing of national board exams to obtain my mental health counseling license. I have worked in the mental health setting since 2003, working in varying aspects of clinical settings. My experience has primarily been focused on adults with Anxiety, Complex PTSD, Depression, Personality disorders, Addiction and Life Stressors. I have also worked with families who have been impacted by addiction and domestic violence.

I currently work with individuals. I strive to create a safe and trusting environment that is conducive to insightful awareness and positive change. I believe that our early relationships influence and shape our relationships into adulthood. Exploring these past relationships is essential for change because they contribute to our current life stressors, negative thinking patterns, relationships and our ability to cope with challenges. Throughout therapy I will help you identify your inner strength in order to formulate goals and help you make the positive changes that you would like to see. I strive to create a trusting, safe and empowering environment in order to promote positive change. I incorporate, attachment theory, dialectal behavior therapy, cognitive behavior therapy and psychodynamic therapy in treatment. I believe that change takes place when work is done both in and outside of sessions.   My desire is to assist you in understanding yourself, and learn tools to thrive in all aspects of your life.
